At Provider Friendly Network, we understand that getting all up-to-date insurance information on patients is time-consuming. We strive to make the insurance information process easier for all parties. Take a look at some important notes about PFN that will save you time in the billing process:
- PFN is always the secondary insurance (unless in situations where they may be tertiary)
- PFN does not have its own network. If the provider accepts the primary insurance then they will accept PFN as well
- PFN processes a portion of the primary insurance deductible. In some occasions a portion of the copay may be picked up as well, depending on the plan
- If a procedure is not covered by the primary, it will not be covered by PFN
PFN is in the process of getting a virtual ID search, so that providers can look up member ID numbers and retrieve benefits and effective dates.
